A Norwegian fjord
Norway is an average-sized country, with a total land area of about 323,800 sq. km. ("Central"). Most of that is land area, which takes up about 304, 280 sq. km.("Central"). The rest is water area, which makes up the rest with approximately 19,520 sq. km. ("Central").
The shape of Norway can be described as mainly fragmented. Norway earns its shape because of the chain of islands on it's western coast. Norway's main site characteristics are its beautiful fjords, plateaus, and mountains. Other sites include its coastline, the fertile valleys, and the arctic tundra in the north ("Central").
Most of Norway's population is urban, with a total of 79% living in cities. Approximately 875,000 people live in Norway's capital, Oslo ("Central"). Other important cities in Norway are Tromsø and Bodø, two coastal cities ("Central").
*Norway has no current border issues to note.

Mt. Kenya
Kenya is a slightly larger country than Norway, with a total land area of about 580,365 sq. km. ("Central"). Out of the total area, land represents 569,140 sq. km., and water at approximately 11,225 sq. km. ("Central").
Kenya has a pretty compact shape, without any major protrusions. Kenya's site characteristics are the Kenyan Highlands and the glaciers on Mt. Kenya, Africa's second highest peak ("Central").
Kenya's urban population is minuscule, totaling only 22% of the population, and approximately 3.375 million living in the capital, Nairobi. Another important city is Mombasa, whose population is about nine hundred and sixty-six thousand.
*In 2005, Kenya served as an important mediator in Sudan's north-south separation. Kenya also provides shelter to almost a quarter million refugees, including Ugandans who flee across the border seeking protection ("Central").

(“International”). This means that Kenya’s level of human development is
extremely low. Kenya is currently in either stages 2

reached full development, but slowly making rapid growth in certain industries.
