Industry in Norway is mostly composed of two major industries- oil and petroleum, and maritime/seafood ("Industry"). Norway is the second-largest exporter of gas, and the seventh-largest exporter of oil in the world ("Central"). Also, Norway is Europe's most diversified maritime nation and commands worldwide respect for its shipping expertise and equipment ("Industry"). Both of these industries mainly take place on the coast. Both of Norway's industries are very environmentally friendly and well-developed ("Industry").

Norway also accounts for nearly 10% of the global shipping fleet, and has one of the largest merchant fleets ("Industry"). Norway is probably the only country in the world with such a large and diverse maritime industry ("Industry"). Norway also supply an increasing number of other services such as technical consulting, finance and insurance, legal and auditing services, marketing and public relations, and management consulting ("Industry"). Most of Norway's services take place in larger cities, such as Oslo, the capital of Norway.

Industry in Kenya is mostly made up of small scale consumer goods and agricultural products. These would include batteries, plastic, clothing, cigarettes, flour, etc. ("Central"). Most agriculture takes place in the Kenyan Highlands, while most industry takes place in Nairobi and other cities.
